Good morning from the 2023 Derby National! The skies are clear and it is 45 degrees – perfect weather for working AND watching the dogs! For the 1st Series, we are in the Terrace Field. The mat is facing south east and there is little wind.
This single is a rooster pheasant flyer shot right to left. The gunners are sitting approximately 259 yards from the line. The line to this bird takes the dogs over a road and across a side hill.
The test is taking approx 2 min per dog.
