Breeze and Shawn came to the line at 10:18 am
S – Down the terrace into the pond, exit through the lily pads, right of the guns, up the levee behind the gunners – ran to the point on top of the levee, turned and came down to the bird.
L – Angled left across the terrace into the pond, wide left of the point, swam to the area left of the guns, hunted the hill left and deep of the guns, then back to the guns and deep right, circled back to the point, came down to the shore and she got her bird!
Breeze and Shawn came to the line at 3:30 pm
F – Down through the draw, out and up the hill and right to the bird
LB – Down into pond 1, out across the broad point have the left edge of the land bridge, out and up the hill to the right, behind the gunners, 1 circle and then left and over to the bird.
Breeze and Shawn came to the line at 10:25 am
F – Came up under the arc, turned left and went deep away from the bird – back right – hunted hard but tight to the fall area and got it!
L – Up the left side, into the trees and out with her bird!
Breeze and Shawn came to the line at 12:00 pm
F – Excellent line and straight to the bird.
L – Got in water, came out wide right, went deep and worked back to the bird.

What made you decide to compete in Field Trials?
My Good friend Christian Alt (Steadfast Retrievers) showed me what amazing things dogs could do with proper training.
Who are your training partners at home?
When I’m not training alone I will link up with Steadfast Retrievers, Gary Kavan and Heidi Henningson.
What is the origin of your dog’s name?
First portion is named after my friend Christian Alts kennel and last portion is the kennel of her Sire (Seasides Pompano Jack)
Tell us an interesting story or fact about your dog.
She was purchased to be family hunting dog until we realized she had to much potential.

You and your dog have made it through nine series of the National Derby Championship. You are about to come to the line for the 10th series with a chance to win the 2023 National Derby Champion. What song and artist would you want to hear playing as the two of you come to the line?

Down the hill and into the left edge of the pond, stayed in the water down to the land bridge about 3/4 of the way, and then up and out, angled up the hill to the cover and grabbed her bird!
