Chief and Glennon came to the line at 11:29 am
S – Down the terrace into the pond, out the left side of the point, up behind the guns and then a left turn down to his bird.
L – Down the terrace again and angled across the pond to exit under the arc, came up behind the guns looping a few times back and forth right to the left and then down to the bird.
Chief and Glennon came to the line at 4:22 pm
F – Through the draw, between the cedars and straight to the bird.
LB – Across the 1st pond and then out wide left, took the opportunity to miss the second pond, angled across in front of the guns to the right side, went a little deep and then back to the left for the bird.
Chief and Glennon came to the line at 11:03 am
F – Up towards the fall, came in just left and turned right and got it!
L – Came in just left of the trees, dove in and got it!
Chief and Glennon came to the line at 1:10 pm
F – Very nice line to the bird.
L – Swam to just right of the guns – under the arc and deep – hunted left and right, then came left of the guns and worked it out.

What made you decide to compete in Field Trials?
I wanted to compete at a high caliber with my dogs.

Northrup Larson. My mom, my sister Casey, Don, Jim, Walt.
What is the origin of your dog’s name?
Charlie hunted a farm in Pike County, MO- that the Noix Creek ran through.
Tell us an interesting story or fact about your dog.
I pick up Chief for training each morning M- F. Chief waits by the door looking out the window for me to pick him up and train him every morning.
You and your dog have made it through nine series of the National Derby Championship. You are about to come to the line for the 10th series with a chance to win the 2023 National Derby Champion. What song and artist would you want to hear playing as the two of you come to the line?

Chief and Glennon came to the line ...
Took the land bridge across and went up the hill, a couple small loops and then into the cover and he had his bird!
Chief and Glennon came to the line at 1:55 pm
R – Through the gap, hunted between the tree and the tree line and found his bird.
L – Up and over the ridge, set up a small hunt behind the ridge and worked back to the bird.

F – Out under the arc a little deep of the guns. Stayed in front of the guns and hunted the area and he got his bird!
